BPD investigating a vehicle vs pedestrian crash

Just after 10pm Boise Police responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash at S. 10th Street and W. Front Street in downtown Boise. Ada County Paramedics also responded and took the pedestrian, an adult male, to a local hospital with what appeared on scene to be life-threatening injuries. Boise Police officers and detectives are currently on scene and the investigation is ongoing. 

What happened: A preliminary investigation shows the driver was traveling west on Front Street when his vehicle struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway at 10th street. The adult male driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
