Two men hospitalized after being struck by vehicle in roadway

At 10:47 p.m. Boise Police officers responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on the 1000 block of W. Main Street.  When officers arrived on scene they located two male adults in the roadway who had been struck by a single vehicle.  The men were each transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.  The vehicle remained on scene and the adult male driver is cooperating with the investigation.  No charges have been filed.  Members of the BPD Criminal Investigation Division responded to the incident, as well as a crash scene reconstruction team.  Though the investigation is preliminary, evidence located indicates the two men were involved in a physical altercation, which began in front of a business and then carried over into the road and lanes of travel, where they were hit by the vehicle.  They remain hospitalized at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
