Missing Boise man located, found deceased

Boise Police officers have located the man missing since Tuesday morning.  Sadly, a male adult matching the description of the missing man was found deceased in his vehicle after it appears he completed suicide.  The vehicle was located at 7:43 a.m. this morning in a dirt lot near the intersection of Eagle Road and Colchester Drive.  The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the death investigation, and the Ada County Coroner’s Office will confirm the identity of the deceased male and notification of family.     


Previously Released: Tuesday, 10:15 p.m.--

Boise Police officers are trying find 66-year-old John, he was last seen around 11:15 a.m. at his home near McMillan and Five Mile. Police and John’s family are concerned for his welfare as he may be in need of medical assistance. John left behind his wallet and his phone but did take his vehicle, a green 1996 Infinity.  Police are asking anyone with any information about his whereabouts or his vehicle to call non-emergency dispatch at 208-377-6790.   

Physical Description: John is described as being 6’4” tall, approximately 240 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants and he walks with a limp on his right side.

Vehicle Description: John may be driving a dark green 1996 Infinity with Idaho License plate 2102A. The attached picture is a similar vehicle, not John’s actual vehicle.
