UPDATE: Suspect arrested after shots fired call

Arrested: Andrew Peterman, 33, Boise

Charges: Aggravated Assault (F)

Upon investigation, the suspect, Andrew Peterman, was booked into the Ada County Jail on a charge of felony Aggravated Assault. Peterman called Ada County Dispatch to turn himself in around 10:20 p.m. Police made contact with him near N. Mitchell St. and W. Alliance. Officers were also able to recover the firearm during a yard search on W. Alliance.

The suspect in the shots fired call earlier tonight on N. Jullion Way has been located and is in police custody.

Boise Police are searching for a suspect after a shots fired call at 6:02 pm on the 3800 block of N. Jullion Way. A preliminary investigation shows the suspect was with people he knew before the shooting and the suspect fled the scene on foot. None of the victims were injured and nothing was damaged but officers did find evidence that shots had been fired. Officers are in the area searching for the suspect. It’s unknown if he is still in the area.

Suspect description: The suspect is a white male in his 30s. He was last seen wearing a camo shirt or a shirt that says ARMY on it. He may be armed with a small caliber handgun.
