Officers investigating reported armed robbery late Saturday night

Late last night Boise Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery on the east side of Broadway Avenue near the river.  Reports indicate the robbery occurred at just after 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, but wasn't reported until approximately midnight.  According to reports the suspect confronted a single victim with a knife causing them to fear for their safety.  The victim complied, and the suspect made away with undisclosed property without further incident.  Officers completed an extensive area search but did not locate the suspect.  The investigation remains ongoing.  

Suspect Description:  The suspect is described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately between the ages of 20-30.  He is described as being 5'10" tall, weighing 185 lbs, and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt at the time.
