Two suspects arrested after a stabbing on Saturday

Suspect: Roberto Sanchez, 32, Nampa

Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

Suspect: Alejandro Aranda, 24, Greenleaf

Charges: Probation violation (F)

On Sept. 30th at 2:02 am Boise Police responded to a report of a stabbing following an argument on the 1500 block of W. Grove Street.  Before police arrived, the suspects left the scene in a black Escalade type SUV. The victims also left the scene and drove in a private vehicle to a local hospital. Two male adult victims received stab wounds that were considered serious but not life threatening.

Around 2:15 a.m. Boise Police saw the suspect’s vehicle on I-84 and initiated a traffic stop on Eagle Road near Magic View.  The driver and the passenger were taken into custody without incident.  After further investigation, the suspects were taken to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above charges.  Additional charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
