What Happened:  The call came in at 5:43 p.m. on Friday evening.  Reports indicate the car, driven by an adult female, was in a multi-business parking lot near the intersection of Eagle Road and McMillan Road when it went through a fence on the south side.  The car proceeded through a back yard, struck the house on the side and continued through another fence and came to rest when it hit a house across the street from the original residence.  A power line and gas line at the first house were damaged.  Eagle Fire Department and Meridian Fire Department personnel were able to secure the gas line, and Intermountain Gas is en route.  Idaho Power technicians are also responding.  Police officers briefly evacuated neighboring houses for safety, but residents are back home at this time.

Ada County Paramedics also responded to the scene and transported the driver of the vehicle to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  A toddler who was in the car was not injured.  No one else in the area was injured in the crash.

The cause of this crash is under investigation at this time.
