Boise Police, Boise Fire and Ada County Paramedics responded to a crash with multiple injuries this morning near W. Overland Rd. and Entertainment Ave.  Just before 10:51 a.m. a vehicle leaving a car show parking lot crashed into several pedestrians on the sidewalk.  Eight people were injured, six were transported to the hospital via ambulance and two went in a private vehicle.

An investigation into the crash is underway.  Preliminary information shows that the driver of a gray Porsche was accelerating rapidly as he left the car show onto eastbound Overland Rd. The driver lost control and ran into the nearby crowd.  The driver is cooperating with the investigation and the Porsche was part of the car show. Overland Road is closed at this time while officers continue to investigate.
