One person in custody following reported convenience store robbery

Update:  Officers have arrested Jeremy Lee Jacobson, 29 of Idaho Falls and charged him with Robbery in connection with the incident that occurred on the 700 block of North Garden Street  overnight.



10:40 p.m. - Boise Police have one person in custody following a reported robbery of a convenience store.

What Happened: Officers were called at 9:49 p.m. to the convenience store on the 700 block of North Garden Street on the corner of West Emerald Street. Witnesses told officer a man walked into the store, verbally threatened the clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Witnesses were able to give officers a good description of the suspect and said he was last seen headed south on Garden Street.

The description of the suspect was a light skinned male, blond-grey hair, with a closed cropped beard, wearing a long sleeve white shirt, khaki shorts and had sunglasses on top of his head.

Officers were in the area and able to respond very quickly. At approximately 10:30, an officer reported having a man matching the suspect  description in custody.

At this time, the person is being questioned by officers.
