Boise Police responded to a citizen’s call of a possible DUI driver Saturday, June 7 at 10:51 p.m. near South Orchard and Malad Street. The citizen had reported the driver of the suspect vehicle had nearly rear ended them, passed, then swerved between lanes. Officers located the vehicle and made a traffic stop near Orchard and Interstate 84. Officers could smell the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver, identified as Enbysk. Her speech was slow and slurred and her eyes were glassy and bloodshot. The driver failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DUI. Enbysk had a small child in the car with her. Officers made sure the child was released to safe custody. Officers also found the driver in possession of a bottle of prescription pills that belonged to someone else. According to police records, the suspect was convicted of DUI- Excessive in June, 2009 and Felony DUI in April, 2010, making this arrest also a felony DUI. Officers also cited the driver for failure to provide proof of insurance. She was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.

Boise Police were called Sunday evening, June 8 to an east Boise home for a report of drug activity. When officers arrived, through a consent search, they found the suspect in possession of marijuana and cocaine, along with a digital scale and other evidence that indicated the suspect intended to sell the substances. Inside the suspect’s car and residence, officers also found assorted items of drug paraphernalia and alcoholic beverages. Several prescription pills were found in the suspect’s possession that she had blacked out the prescription labels and did not have a prescription for. She was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.
Arrested: Daniel J. Hausner, 31, Boise
Charged: Possession of a Controlled Substance - Hydromorphone (F), Possession of Methamphetamine – (F), Possession of marijuana (m), Driving without privileges (m), Possession of drug paraphernalia (m) , Carrying a concealed weapon without a license (m)
A Boise Police officer on patrol Sunday, June 8 near West University Drive and South Capitol Blvd. made a traffic stop on a vehicle after the officer witnessed the driver failing to maintain its lane of travel. The driver was identified as Hausner. In a check of police records, the officer found Hausner was on felony probation and had a suspended driver’s license. The officer arrested Hausner on the charge. A drug detection K9 with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of illegal drugs. In a search, officers found a white crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers also found a small amount of marijuana, several used syringes, two white pills identified in the field as Hydromorphone, and brass knuckles. The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.
Arrested: Jerry C. Keeley, 56, Boise
Charged: Aggravated Assault – 2 counts (F), Aggravated Battery (F), Possession of Methamphetamine (F)
On Saturday afternoon, June 7, Boise Police were called to respond to an assault with a deadly weapon in the area of West Canal Street and West Victory Road. Witnesses told dispatchers the suspect had tried to run over three people with his vehicle and had since left the area toward Vista Avenue. Officers arrived and found the victims and suspect, who are known to each other, were apparently involved in an ongoing dispute. During the dispute, the suspect reportedly drove over the sidewalk and onto the lawn toward the victims, hitting one causing minor injuries. During the investigation, the suspect was also found to be in possession of a white crystal substance that tested presumptive positive for Meth. Officers arrested the suspect on the above charges.
