Neighbor complaints lead officers to drug house, felony arrests for marijuana & prescription meds; BPD Daily Watch Log

Arrested: Curtis L. Campbell, 28, Boise

Charged: Possession with the Intent to Deliver – Marijuana (F), Possession with the Intent to Deliver – Prescription Medication (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

On Tuesday, January 14, at 4:00 p.m., members of the Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Unit were dispatched to a residence in the area of Chinden Boulevard and North Eagle Road.  The officers recognized the residence as being a problem house where neighbors complained of frequent parties and drug use.  After gaining consent to search the residence and a vehicle with a K9 assigned to the unit, Campbell was found to be in possession of 69 grams of marijuana, 140 Seroquel 50 mg prescription pills, and seven Diazepam 10 mg pills.  Campbell was also in possession of several items of drug paraphernalia to include smoking devices, a cannabis grinder, spice, multiple syringes, multiple plastic baggies and screen filters.  The officer's report was routed to the Ada County Prosecutor for review and warrants were issued for the above charges.  Campbell was booked into the Ada County Jail yesterday.


Arrested: Alexander I. Collins, 22, Boise

Charged: Grand Theft (F)

Boise Police officers were called to a residence in the area of West Beacon Street and South Lincoln Avenue for a report of a theft.  Officers spoke with the victim who stated that two flat screen LCD televisions, valued over $1,200.00, had been taken from the residence.  The suspect Collins is well known to the victim.  With assistance from the victim, officers found evidence the suspect had sold both televisions. Officers were able to locate and recover the stolen TV's. Collins was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charge.
