Felony DUI Arrest this morning highlights officers efforts to stop imparied driving; BPD Daily Incident Report

Arrested: Christine A. Dilbeck, 43, Boise 

Charged: DUI (F)

A Boise Police Night STEP officer on patrol at approximately 3:00 this morning saw a vehicle whose registered owner had a suspended license from a previous DUI. The vehicle stopped on Catalpa Drive. The officer also stopped and made contact with the driver. The officer could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the driver's eyes were glassy and bloodshot. The driver, Dilbeck, failed field sobriety tests. A Breath Alcohol Check resulted in a .098/.089. The suspect has two prior DUI's in the previous ten years making this arrest a felony. The driver was booked into the Ada County Jail  on the above charge.

Boise Police will continue extra DUI patrols through January 3rd as part of a statewide effort to stop impaired driving.

Arrested: Cody R. Bauer, 20, Boise

Charged: Possession of a Controlled Substance - Meth (F), Possession of drug paraphernalia (m)

A Boise Police patrol officer noticed a vehicle traveling with an obstructed rear license plate yesterday morning. Officers made the traffic stop at North 13th and Front Streets. A passenger in the car, identified as Bauer consented to a search. Officers found him in possession of two glass pipes with white powdery residue as well as a clear plastic baggie also with a white powdery residue. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. Bauer was arrested on the above charge and booked into the Ada County Jail.


Arrested: Nalani Lee Ignacio Ishii, 31, Boise

Charged: Burglary (F)

Boise Police were called by store employees to a retailer on the 8300 block of West Overland Road last night at approximately 6:30 p.m. Officers found evidence the suspect, Ishii entered the store with the intention of stealing merchandise making the charge a felony.
