Boise Police patrol officers responded to a hotel on the 2200 block of West Airport Way last night at 10:37 p.m. The officers were following up on a report just called in by a woman from Utah reporting her stolen credit card was being used in Boise. The victim told police dispatchers she had just been alerted to the fraudulent charge by her bank. A responding officer called the victim back. She told the officer the credit card had been inside her purse and stolen when her car was recently broken into. She had immediately reported the theft to both her local police and her bank.

At the hotel, officers found evidence that the suspect Nuneviller had just attempted to use the credit card and identification card that had been reported stolen by the Utah victim. Officers also found the suspect Nuneviller had forged the victim's signature when she attempted to use the stolen credit card.

Officers searched the area and found a woman matching the female suspect's description in the hotel parking lot with another male, both getting luggage out of a Toyota SUV. Officers watched as the man took luggage and entered the hotel. Officers approached the woman who identified herself with information later found to be false. She was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a small amount of a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Officers later confirmed the female suspect as Nuneviller.

Officers at the hotel room found the man, later identified as suspect Travis McDonald, had just entered the room. Officers contacted him and while speaking with officers, the suspect initially identified himself using several different names, all found to be false.

Officers did a pat search of the suspect McDonald and found him to be in possession of a loaded .22 caliber pistol inside his coat, a weapon which he does not have a permit to carry concealed.

After finding the weapon, a further search of the suspect found him to be in possession of a substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine.

Investigating further, officers found McDonald to be in possession of multiple credit cards and ID cards, none of which belonged to him. Boise Police Property Crimes detectives were called in to continue the investigation. Boise officers have since learned McDonald is a suspect in several crimes in the Salt Lake City, Utah area involving fraud.

Officers checked on the vehicle the suspects were seen using, the Toyota SUV and found it had been reported stolen earlier this month out of Utah.

Both suspects were arrested on the above charges and booked into the Ada County Jail.
