Citizen reports man passed out in a running car, results in arrest for meth; BPD Daily Incident Report

Arrested: Jayson R. Dow, 36, Boise

Charged: Controlled Substance Violation - Meth (F), Possession of drug paraphernalia (m), False personation (m) 

Boise Police responded to a parking lot on the 1100 block of South Vista Avenue at 10:21 last night after a citizen called reporting a man passed out in the driver's seat of a parked car with the engine running. Officers arrived and woke up the man who initially identified himself as an individual who officers found had an outstanding arrest warrant for robbery. When officers told the suspect he was under arrest, the suspect gave officers his real name. An Ada County Sheriff's deputy with a drug detection dog was called to assist. The dog alerted to the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle. A search found the suspect to be in possession of several glass pipes and other paraphernalia. Also found was a baggie of white powder that tested positive for meth. Officers arrested the suspect on the above charges and booked him into the Ada County Jail.


Arrested: Jade E. Bowen, 31, Boise

Charged: Aggravated Battery (F)

Boise Police were called to a disturbance at a home near West Franklin and South Five Mile Road shortly before midnight last night. When officers arrived they found evidence the suspect had punched the victim, an adult male causing injuries to the victim's face. The suspect and victim are known to each other. Officers arrested the suspect on the above charge and booked him into the Ada County Jail.
