A Dispute turns Threatening; Parole Agents find Meth; BPD Daily Incident Report

Arrested: Alex T. Gibson, 30, Boise

Charged: Possession of a Controlled Substance - Meth (F), Possession of drug paraphernalia (m)

Boise Police were contacted by Probation and Parole Officers after they conducted a 4th Amendment Waiver search of the suspect's residence on the 2300 block of South Pond Street, The suspect was on felony supervised probation for a prior DUI conviction. The P&P officers discovered multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia in the suspect's garage. An investigation found both the suspect Gibson and suspect Troy N. Trotta who was visiting the residence in possession of the paraphernalia. The suspect was also found to be in possession of approximately two grams of methamphetamine. Troy N. Trotta, 29 of Boise was arrested on misdemeanor charges of frequenting a place where drugs are used and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect Gibson was arrested on the above charges. Both were booked into the Ada County Jail. 


Arrested: Darin L. Meeks, 42, Boise

Charged: Assault with a Deadly Weapon (F)

Boise Police were called to a disturbance last night shortly after 8:00 p.m. at a residence in the area of North 15th and West Fort Streets. The victim and the suspect are known to each other. While investigating an ongoing dispute, officers found evidence the suspect made used a knife to threaten the victim if police were called. The threats caused the victim to fear for his life. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charge.
