Theft of a gas card from employer ends in felony warrant arrest; Daily incident report

Warrant Arrested: Jocelyn J. Dacier, 37, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a stolen gas card taken from the suspect's employer at the time. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the theft of the gas credit card and used that card to make purchases at local merchants in July of this year. The card was reported stolen to police in September and a detailed investigation began. When officers completed their investigation, the information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant for grand theft.
