Evening armed robbery on West Fairview Avenue

   Boise October 23rd 2013 - Boise police received the report of an armed robbery that took place at a grocery store on the 7100 block of West Fairview Avenue at approximately 9:11 p.m. this evening. Witnesses tell police the suspect entered the store and displayed a handgun, then demanded cash. No one was injured in the incident. The suspect was last seen leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of money. Witnesses say the suspect left on foot in an unknown direction of travel. An immediate search of the area did not locate the suspect. 

    Preliminary Suspect Description: Witnesses describe the suspect as an adult male wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask.  

    Crime Stoppers: Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236. A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
