Attempts to influence a witness lead to felony warrant arrest; Daily incident report

Warrant Arrested: Joshua B. Scott, 36, Boise

Warrant Charges:  Intimidation of a States Witness (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Intimidation of a States Witness last night.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into phone calls made while the suspect was incarcerated in the Ada County Jail in August of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect made efforts to contact and influence a witness involved in an ongoing criminal court case. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
