Officers Searching for Theft Suspect; Suspect Photos

Boise Police are investigating the theft of a bank bag from a neighborhood restaurant. Investigating officers hope images of the suspect taken from security cameras will help them find the person responsible.

What Happened: Officers were called to the restaurant near West State and North 36th Streets shortly after 2:00 yesterday afternoon, Monday, September 9th. Witnesses tell officers a man walked into the rear portion of business, an area only open to employees, took a bank deposit bag and walked off. The bag did contain an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was last seen walking westbound on State Street.

Suspect Description: The suspect is described as taller in stature, light skinned with dark hair. He was wearing beige pants, a beige shirt and carrying a bag or a jacket.
