Officers make an Arrest in an Overnight Robbery after a Patrol Officer Spots the Suspect Vehicle at another Convenience Store

   What Happened: Boise Police responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store on the 2500 block of West Fairview Avenue shortly before 9:00 last night, September 19th. Multiple witnesses told police a woman walked into the store, made a threatening statement and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and drove off. Witnesses were able to give officers a good description of the suspect and suspect vehicle. 

   Officers See Suspect Vehicle:    At approximately 1:30 this morning Boise Police patrol officers observed a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description, a Subaru with a bike on a rack on the back of the car, parked at a convenience store near West Boise Avenue and South Protest Road. Officers stopped and talked with a woman near the vehicle who matched the suspect description. She was identified as Katlin Hoffman. Officers were able to find evidence linking Hoffman to the robbery of the first convenience store some four hours earlier. A second woman was located with Hoffman, identified as Jade Wake. Officers were also able to develop evidence Wake was an accessory to the crime. The complete details of her involvement remain under investigation. Both suspects were arrested on the listed charges and booked into the Ada County Jail.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 65 ROBBERY 18-6501. Robbery defined. Robbery is the felonious taking of personal property in the possession of another, from his person or immediate presence, and against his will, accomplished by means of force or fear.

Boise, Sept 19, 2013 - 9:34pm - Boise Police are searching for a woman driving a Subaru with a bike on the back who robbed a Fairview Avenue convenience store tonight.

It happened shortly before 9:00 p.m.  The woman reportedly walked into the store on the 2500 block of Fairview, made a statement that implied she had a weapon and demanded cash. 

Suspect Description: the suspect is described as a light skinned female wearing grey sweatpants, and a navy blue zip-up sweatshirt. She has darker blonde hair and was driving a Subaru with a bike on the back.
