Arrested: Matthew E. Mcgraw, 19, Boise

Charges: Grand Theft (F), Minor Consumption (m), Providing False Information (m)

Boise Police responded to a citizen report of a suspicious person near North 10th and West Main Street yesterday, August 26th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. The calling party indicated a man was bleeding from the mouth and pushing a motorcycle down the road. Officers located the suspect moments later. Officers noted the motorcycle wiring harness had been cut and the man pushing the motorcycle had been drinking. During the course of the investigation the suspect provided false identifying information to officers indicating he was the owner of the motorcycle. Officers determined the motorcycle had been stolen from a few blocks away in downtown Boise earlier that morning. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
