Officers investigate serious vehicle pedestrian crash in downtown Boise

      Boise Police are investigating a serious collision that took place early this morning at the intersection of 8th and Front Street. The pedestrian, an adult male, was transported to a local hospital with what appeared at the time to be serious life threatening injuries.

   What Happened: Boise Police responded to the collision at approximately 1:13 a.m. this morning. When officers and emergency medical personnel arrived, they found the pedestrian seriously injured. The man was transported to local hospital.

Witnesses tell officers the man was crossing on foot when he was struck by the car. According to witnesses who saw the crash, the driver of the car had a green light at the time the collision took place. 

   The Investigation: The Boise Police Crash Reconstruction Team is conducting a detailed investigation of the incident. on scene. At this time, the investigation is still underway. No charges have yet been filed in connection with this incident pending the outcome of the investigation.
