Collision Injures 2 year old

Update: Officers say the injuries to the 2 year old are not life-threatening. There also is no relationship between the child and the driver of the car. 


 Boise, July 6, 2014, 7:02 pm - Boise Police are investigating a collision that just occurred that resulted in a two year old being transported to the hospital. At this time the extent of the child's injuries are unknown although the child is reported to be conscious and breathing. 

What Happened:    Officers say the driver of a sedan pulled out of a parking spot in an apartment complex on the 3900 block of Alpine Street

 A two year old child was behind the vehicle, apparently unseen by the driver and hit by the car. 

  Again, the child was reported to be conscious but is being transported by Ada County EMS to the hospital for treatment of injuries. 

 At this time, the relationship of the driver to the child, if any, is unknown. 

  The investigation is underway. Additional details will be released as the investigation allows.
