Boise Police officers on patrol last night made a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to use a turn signal at S. Leadville Ave and W. Highland Street shortly after 11:00 p.m. While talking with the driver, Mateyer, officers could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Other evidence led officers to believe the driver had been drinking. The driver failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .145/.146 in a breath alcohol test. Meteyer was driving with three teens under the age of 18 in the car with him. Officers arrested him on DUI and three counts of Injury to a Child.
