Theft from seniors ends in felony arrest; Daily incident report

Warrant Arrested: Jeremiah T. Villanueva, 24, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the theft of items from residents of a senior center in West Boise over the last several months. Boise Police detectives conducted a detailed investigation into the theft of items including jewelry and cash from multiple apartments within the complex. Evidence obtained by Boise detectives indicates the suspect, who was an employee at the time, was involved in the theft of thousands of dollars in personal property from elderly residents. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further charges in this case may be pending.
