Officers Search for Thieves who Stole Weapons from Vehicle

Boise, June 21, 2013 - Boise Police are asking the public's help in identifying those responsible for the theft of several weapons from a parked pick-up truck.

What Happened: The theft happened sometime between midnight and 6:45 Friday morning, May 24th. The vehicle was parked in the lot of an apartment complex near N. Maple Grove Rd and Susan Dr. in West Boise. Officers say someone broke into the locked vehicle and left with several guns, magazines and ammunition.

Suspect Description: Security video from the area shows a possible suspect described as a male wearing a dark colored jacket and white and plaid shorts. In the video. he's pulling his coat over his head. 

Vehicle of Interest: Officers would like to find a vehicle seen leaving the area at the same time as the theft suspect. The vehicle is a white, mid-90’s model Chevy S10 Blazer or GMC S-15 Jimmy.

A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
