BPD/ICAC Detectives Make Arrest in Child Pornography Case

Boise Police arrested a man this morning and charged him with several felony counts after officers found child pornography involving young boys on his home computer. Officers ask the public if they have any information that may connect the man to other crimes involving children to please report it.

Arrested: Thomas G. Brown, 61, Boise

Charged: Sexual Exploitation of a Child (F) - 10 counts.

What Happened: Boise Police detectives with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force recently recieved information that led to an investigation of the suspect. Officers gathered enough evidence for a search warrant, which was served on the suspect's Southeast Boise home early this morning. Officers found the suspect to be in possession a number of sexually explicit images involving young boys.

Officers are continuing their investigation into Brown's activities. Officers urge anyone with additional information related to Brown's interaction with children to please call Boise Police through non-emergency dispatch - 377-6790. At this time, there is no indication the children pictured in the computer images are local.
