Vigilant officers make Burglary and Drug Delivery arrests; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Brandyn L. Thompson, 18, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Failure to Appear charges (m)

   Arrested: Joshua L. Thompson, 20, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police responded to a burglary alarm at a business on the 2000 block of North 34th Street early this morning, May 23rd, just after midnight. Officers observed the two suspects inside a fenced compound and attempted to make contact. The two suspects attempted to flee on foot. Officers took them into custody a short distance away. After a detailed investigation officers have evidence that indicates the suspects intended to steal items from the compound including copper wiring. The suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medications)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police on patrol last night, May 22nd, at approximately 9:00 p.m. observed a vehicle conduct an illegal lane change and stopped the vehicle near South Orchard and I-84. As officers contacted the driver, a Boise Police K-9 named "Kamo" alerted on the vehicle indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 419 grams total package weight of marijuana individually packed in zip lock bags, 11 oxycontin pills, scales and pipes. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
