Vandals do Extensive Damage at Building Construction Site

Boise, May 28, 2013 – Boise Police are investigating a vandalism that occurred over the weekend at a building under construction in west Boise. Detectives say damage estimates are in excess of $100,000.

 What Happened: Officers were alerted  to the crime early Monday. It appears over the weekend, someone entered the building on the 5700 block of N. Meeker Ave and used spray paint, glue, fire extinguishers  to damage desks, walls, carpet, walls  and windows.  The vandals also set fire to construction blueprints. Detectives say the destruction is as senseless as it is widespread at the site.

A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
