Attack with brass knuckles ends in Felony Warrant arrest; Daily incident report

   Warrant Arrested: Jordan R. Shields, 18, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Battery yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a physical fight that took place on March 22nd in a parking garage in downtown Boise. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in a physical confrontation with the victim, who is well known to him at approximately 10:00 p.m.  Witnesses tell police that during the fight the suspect produced a set of brass knuckles and used them on the victim. The victim in this case suffered lacerations and required stitches. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquires into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. 

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-907. Aggravated battery defined. (1) A person commits aggravated battery who, in committing battery: (a)Causes great bodily harm, permanent disability or permanent disfigurement; or (b)Uses a deadly weapon or instrument;


  Arrested: Ryan J. Crutchfield, 20, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver (Marijuana)(F)

   Boise Police Narcotics Officers arrested the suspect as part of an ongoing investigation after serving a search warrant yesterday, May 16th, at approximately 5:30 p.m. at a residence on the 1400 block of West Williams Street. Officers recovered approximately 4 ounces of marijuana and scales from within the home. During the course of the investigation officers obtained evidence that indicates the suspect had been involved in the sale of marijuana in Idaho. After a detailed investigation into the crime the suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

   Arrested: David S. Byrd, 23, Meridian

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police received a report of a forgery that had taken place on May 6th. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in forging signatures on three checks and using those documents to obtain more than $700.00 in cash at local merchants. After a detailed investigation, the suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.


   Arrested: Amber C. Lindholm, 18, Nampa

   Charges: Burglary (F), Petit Theft (m)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Street yesterday, May 16th, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect conceal several clothing items from two different merchants and then leave the stores without paying for the items. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
