Fake ID & Credit Card lead to Arrest; BPD Daily Incident Report

Arrested: Raneisha N. Blueford, 21, Richmond, CA

Charged: Burglary (F)

Boise Police were dispatched to a report of a fraud in progress at 4:50 p.m, Monday, April 9, 2013 at a bank on Federal Way. Dispatchers advised responding officers a woman inside the bank was attempting to get a cash advance on a credit card that appeared fake. When officers arrived at the bank, the female suspect had left. However, immediately officers recieved another call from a bank just down the street of the same scenario, a woman apparently using a fake ID and fake credit card to obtain a cash advance. Both patrol and property crimes detectives responded and found evidence the woman was indeed in possession of a fake ID and fake credit card. Officers were eventually able to obtain the woman's real name, as well as evidence she had recently traveled from California to Boise to commit the crime. Officers arrested the woman on one count of Burglary for entering the  bank with the intent to commit a theft or felony. This case remains under investigation.
