    Arrested: David A. Echevarria, 49, BoiseKamo-K9-Small.jpg

Charges: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Probation Violation Arrest Warrant (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Driving Without Privileges (m)

Boise Police on patrol yesterday, April 10th, at approximately 9:00 p.m. observed a vehicle speeding near Chinden Boulevard and Glenwood Street in Boise and conducted a traffic stop. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect was currently suspended from driving and had a current warrant for his arrest on probation violation charges. A Boise Police K-9 named "Kamo" alerted on the vehicle, indicating the likely presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 7.5 grams total package weight of marijuana and 57 grams total package weight of meth. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Brandon S. Evarts, 27, Boise

Warrant Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin)(F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a small amount of heroin located at the suspect's apartment during a search on January 23rd of this year. Evidence indicates the controlled substance belonged to the suspect. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
