Boise man arrested on Rape charge; Daily incident report

    Arrested: Gene A. Finch, 62, Boise

    Charges: Rape (F)

    Boise Police arrested the suspect yesterday, April 16th, after a detailed investigation into allegations of inappropriate sexual contact that took place on more than one occasion over the last three years. The crimes were reported to Boise Police on April 5th of this year. The victim, a female senior citizen, tells detectives the conduct took place at a Boise home. The suspect is known to the victim and officers have no reason at this time to believe other victims are involved. The investigation into this case continues. No further information is available. Further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 61 RAPE 18-6101. Rape defined. Rape is defined as the penetration, however slight, of the oral, anal or vaginal opening with the perpetrator's penis accomplished with a female under any one of the following circumstances (4)Where she resists but her resistance is overcome by force or violence. 


    Arrested: Ryan P. Porter, 31, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Oxycodone Prescription Medication)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana)(m), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police on patrol early this morning, April 17th, at approximately 1:00 a.m. contacted the suspect in a parking lot near Phillippi Street and Denton Street. Officers received consent to search the suspect's vehicle. Officers observed in plain sight a pipe used to smoke marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 3 grams total package weight of marijuana and other items of paraphernalia in the vehicle. Officers later located a prescription Oxycodone pill the suspect did not have documentation for. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.


   Arrested: Nathan J. Stewart, 19, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

    Boise Police received a report of a Burglary that had taken place at a residence on the 4000 block of South Federal Way on April 12th of this year. On that date the victim tells police someone had entered the victim's open garage and stolen his golf clubs. As part of the ongoing investigation officers recovered the stolen golf clubs and determined Nathan Steward had been involved in the theft. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
