Drug Trafficking arrest; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Jason L. Anderson, 39, Boise

   Charges: Trafficking (Meth)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F)

    Boise Police Narcotics Detectives arrested Jason Anderson yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into the trafficking of meth. Detectives have evidence that indicates the suspect was involved in the sale of approximately 8 ounces of meth yesterday evening in a parking lot in West Boise. Detectives have evidence the suspect has been involved in the trafficking of narcotics on more than one occasion since July of 2012. Further inquiries into this case should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. 

About BANDIT: The Boise Police BANDIT Task Force investigates illegal drug use as well as gambling and prostitution. The Task Force includes detectives from the Boise Police Department, agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Idaho National Guard. They work together as part of a multi-jurisdictional task force called B.A.N.D.I.T. (Boise Area Narcotics and Drug Interdiction Task Force), commissioned to protect the community from illegal drug activity.


   Warrant Arrested: Matthew S. Snow, 19, Nampa

   Warrant Charges:  Robbery (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on outstanding felony warrant for Robbery yesterday.

    The arrest warrants stem from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place in January of this year.  Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the robbery of an adult male victim, who is known to the suspect, on January 26th at a residence in the North end. During the incident the suspect obtained the victim's money and other personal items. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant. Further inquiries into this incident should be directed to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
