Vehicle burglary lands two in jail on Felony charges; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Dylan T. Mick, 21, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Grand Theft (F)

   Arrested: Dylan L. Stringer, 19, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F), Grand Theft (F), Failure to Appear (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary on the 5200 block of South Hayseed Way yesterday morning, January 1st, at approximately 8:00 a.m. The victim tells police two suspects had been seen by a neighbor stealing items out of his vehicle earlier that morning. The witnesses provided detailed information about the suspects and a vehicle. Using the information provided by witnesses, officers located both suspects at a residence on the 5400 block of South Paintbrush. Officers determined that Dylan Stringer had a current warrant for his arrest on Failure to Appear Charges. During the course of the investigation officers located stolen property valued at more than $1,000.00, taken from the victim's vehicle. Officers also found additional items that may have been taken in other vehicle burglaries. After a detailed investigation the two suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 14 BURGLARY 18-1401. Burglary defined. Every person who enters any house, room, apartment, tenement, shop, warehouse, store, mill, barn, stable, outhouse, or other building, tent, vessel, vehicle, trailer, airplane or railroad car, with intent to commit any theft or any felony, is guilty of burglary.
