Three separate Felony drug related arrests; Daily incident report

    Arrested: James M. Cyr, 38, Boise

    Charges: Trafficking/Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at a bank on the 400 block of North Orchard Street last night, January 23rd, at approximately 11:30 p.m. The calling party tells police the suspect flagged him down and asked for help with an ATM. According to the calling party the suspect threatened to harm him with a weapon as he left, prompting the person to call and report the suspect to police. Officers located the suspect, who matched the given description, standing near the ATM. Officers determined the suspect was currently on Parole and had a 4th amendment waiver in place allowing officers to search his person. A search of the suspect's person revealed five zip-loc baggies containing a combined total package weight of 49 grams of meth. Officers also recovered hypodermic syringes. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.


    Arrested: Craig J. Curtis, 33, Boise

    Charges: Delivery/Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (Psilocybin Mushrooms)(F), Delivery of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (marijuana)(m)

    Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a residence on the 11000 block of West Charitan Street yesterday, January 23rd at approximately 8:30 p.m. Officers located approximately 19 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, a small mushroom grow in a bathroom, two zip-loc baggies containing a small amount of marijuana and marijuana pipes. During the course of the investigation, officers found undisclosed evidence indicating the suspect had been involved in the sale of marijuana. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.


    Arrested: Robert B. Holliday, 55, Boise

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(m)

   Boise Police received a citizen report of a possible DUI driver who had been seen smoking meth in his vehicle in a public place. The calling party followed the suspect vehicle and called police. Officers located the vehicle and it's driver sitting in an alley near Grand and 12th Streets. Officers made contact with the driver, who appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicating substance. The suspect failed several field sobriety tests and a blood draw was performed for later evidentiary testing. With the assistance of an Ada County K-9 officers recovered a small amount of meth inside a cigarette pack in the vehicle. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
