Speeding leads to Felony DUI arrest; Daily incident report

Arrested: James H. Blish, 32, Boise

Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

Boise Police observed a vehicle speeding near Orchard and Broadmont Street last night, January 3rd 2013, at approximately 9:00 p.m. Officers stopped the driver on the 2100 block of South Orchard Street. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .15/.14 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

Warrant Arrested: Tamra Minerich, 36, Thornton CO.

   Warrant Charges: Burglary (F)

The suspect was transferred from Larimer County Colorado to face charges in Idaho on an outstanding felony warrant for Burglary.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the theft of a ring from an acquaintance in Boise that took place in 2006. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the sale of the ring. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
