Meth around children lands two in Jail on Felony charges; Daily incident report

    Arrested: Larry W. Beeton, 42, Boise

    Charges: Injury to a Child (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Arrested: Alison R. Drinkall, 35, Boise

   Charges: Injury to a Child (F), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth)(F), Battery on an Officer (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on the 5200 block of West Morris Hill Road early yesterday morning, January 7th, at approximately 2:40 a.m. When officers arrived they located Alison Drinkall outside wearing little clothing. The suspect's behavior was unusual and at one point, the suspect kicked an officer repeatedly in the leg. Officers located Larry Beeton, who also appeared to be under the influence of a mind altering substance, standing outside the residence. During the course of the investigation officers received consent to search the home. Officers recovered a small amount of meth and drug paraphernalia inside the home within reach of four children ranging in age from under 15 years old down to 18 months of age. The children were declared to be in imminent danger and turned over to the custody of agents from the Idaho State Department of Health and Welfare. The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 15 CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS 8-1501. Injury to children. (1) Any person who, under circumstances or conditions likely to produce great bodily harm or death, willfully causes or permits any child to suffer, or inflicts thereon unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering, or having the care or custody of any child, willfully causes or permits the person or health of such child to be injured, or willfully causes or permits such child to be placed in such situation that its person or health is endangered


   Warrant Arrested: Christopher A. Hyneman, 20, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Grand Theft (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Grand Theft yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into items stolen from a vehicle on February 19th of last year. Evidence indicates the suspect was involved in the sale of items, including a computer, valued at more than $1,000.00. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.


  Arrested: Erin K. Brown, 29, Boise

   Charges: Burglary (F)

   Boise Police responded to a report of a theft at a retail store on the 3600 block of West State Street yesterday, January 7th, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Store employees tell police that they witnessed the suspect select more than $100.00 in grocery items and then attempt to leave the store without paying. Officers believe the suspect entered the store with the intent to commit the theft resulting in the burglary charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

   The Boise Police Department has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains. The is to work with retailers and the Boise business community to reduce retail theft and fraud, crimes that have significant impacts on consumer prices.
