Assault with a handgun; Break-in reveals MDMA & meth; BPD Weekend Arrest Report

Arrested: Blake A. Coria, 36, Boise

Charged: Aggravated Assault(F)

Boise Police were contacted by two men Friday evening, January 18th, reporting that the suspect had confronted the two as they went to his residence on the  5600 block of W. Emerald St.  The witnesses told officers the suspect pointed a handgun at them and threatened them as they tried to serve him civil papers. Officers located the suspect minutes later at his home. He was arrested peacefully and booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charge.


Arrested: Jacob Ply Landers, 18, Boise

Charged: Controlled Substance Violation-MDMA (F), Possession of marijuana (m)

Boise Police were called to a break-in in-progress at an unoccupied home on Harrison Blvd. Sunday, Jan. 20th shortly after 10:00 p.m. Officers arrived at found the suspect Landers inside. Officers found the suspect in possession of  approx.. 57 grams of marijuana inside a backpack. Also inside the backpack officers found two baggies containing a white powdery substance that field tested positive for  a pure form of MDMA, popularly known as Ecstasy, laced with methamphetamine.  He was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charges.


Arrested: Michelle L. Kerns, aka Michelle Monk, 42, Boise

Charged: Controlled Substance Violation - Meth (F), Possession of drug paraphernalia (m)

A Boise Police officer on patrol made a traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle for failing to maintain her lane of travel on S. Vista Ave near Canal St.  Sunday, Jan. 20th at 3:33 a.m.  During the traffic stop, a Boise Police drug detection dog alerted on the suspect’s vehicle.  Upon searching the vehicle officers found a glass meth smoking pipe concealed in the center console. Further investigation found the suspect was also in possession of a baggie that contained about 2/10 gram of a substance that field tested positive for meth.  She was arrested on the above charges.


Arrested: Gregory J. Remacle, 42, Garden City

Charged: DUI (F)

A Boise Police officer on patrol Friday, Jan. 19th just before midnight near N. Curtis Rd. and Plymouth Street witnesses a vehicle driving without a headlight. The officer stopped the car and noticed the driver’s eyes were glassy. A Night STEP officer was called and found the driver failed field sobriety tests. He was arrested for DUI and blew a .090/.089. blood alcohol level. Officers found the driver had two prior DUI convictions, in Nov., 2005 and Oct., 2007 making this third DUI arrest a felony.  The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charge.


Arrested: Meagan A, Mattocks, 26, Boise

Charged: Grand Theft – Warrant (F)

A Boise Police officer on patrol Friday night, Jan. 18th on Interstate 84 made a traffic stop on a vehicle. During a routine records check on the driver the officer found the driver, Mattocks had an active warrant for her arrest regarding a case being investigated by Meridian Police. She was arrested and transported to the Ada County Jail.
