UPDATE: Missing woman found!

   Thanks to a citizen who called officers after spotting the missing woman near 36th and State. The missing endagered person is safe at this time.

   Officers want to thank the citizens who helped locate the woman who had been missing since yesterday at 3:30 p.m. when she walked away from her home. Officers located her at approximately 2:50 p.m. this afternoon. The woman appears to be in good health, but may have spent the night outside. She has been returned to the safety of loved ones who are thrilled to have her safe.

 - Boise Police are asking the public's help in locating a missing endangered person. The Boise woman has a medical condition that may have left her disoriented and confused. The missing woman does not appear to have the proper clothing for the current weather conditions and does not have her medications with her. 

Missing: Janet Garrett, 41, was last seen at her home near North 29th, and Good Streets yesterday afternoon, December 20th, at approximately 3:30 p.m... Officers have been searching, but so far, have been unable to locate her. 

Description: Janett Garrett is 5 4, 200 lbs, with brown hair (a little longer than in the photo but similar) and blue eyes, She was last seen wearing a red Christmas design sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. She left without a coat, a phone, identification or her medications. She has a medical condition that may cause disorientation and confusion.
