Warrant Charges: Manufacture of a Controlled Substance (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Manufacture of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the sale of Meth from a residence on the 2400 block of South Stanley Street discovered during a search warrant on December 19th of this year (see news release from that date) Evidence indicates the suspect was in possession of more than 72 grams of meth. During the course of the investigation, officers determined the suspect had been involved in the sale of the controlled substance.    Boise Police received a request for assistance with a problem subject outside a business on the 600 block of South 15th Street yesterday, December 20th, at approximately 6:00 p.m. The calling party tells police two men entered the business asking for money. The suspects left when asked, but returned to the business moments later and began banging on the front doors. Officers located the suspects in a car nearby and as they approached, the suspect started the car. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time, failed several field sobriety tests and did not cooperate with attempts to conduct a breathalyzer test.
