UPDATE (photos) Morning bank robbery on the 7200 block of West Fairview

   What Happened: Boise Police received a report of an armed robbery at a bank on the 7200 block of West Fairview Avenue this morning, September 27th, at approximately 9:27 a.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect demanded cash from the teller, but did not display a weapon. The suspect was last seen leaving the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. A search of the immediate area did not result in an immediate arrest. No one was injured during the incident. 

    Suspect Description: The suspect is described as a light skinned male, approximately 6 to 6'3", possibly wearing a red shirt, red hat, dark colored jeans or slacks and sunglasses.

    Crime Stoppers: Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS, or log onto, or text CRIMES or 274637, subject: Tip236. A citizen can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of criminal suspects.
