Attack leads to Felony Aggravated Battery arrest; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Wesley R. Apadaca, 32, Transient

   Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a fight on the 1300 block of Grand Avenue last night, September 12th, at approximately 5:30 p.m. The victim tells police the suspect "jumped him" from behind while he was walking down the street with a friend. According to the victim the attack is part of an ongoing dispute with the suspect who is known to him. According to witnesses, the suspect struck the victim multiple times, causing the victim to lose consciousness before the suspect fled on foot. Officers located the suspect in Anne Morrison Park and he was taken into custody without further incident. The victim was transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be non life threatening injuries. The victim may require surgery for injuries to his face. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.


    Arrested: Zachary T. Harsma-Black, 21, transient

    Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin)(F), Probation Violation charges (m)

   Boise Police on patrol late last night observed a suspect known to have warrants for his arrest on probation violation charges walking on the 1500 block of North Cole Road. Officers contacted the suspect and verified his identity before taking him into custody on the probation violation charges. A search of the suspect after his arrest revealed 4 small baggies containing approximately 2.9 grams total package weight of heroin.  The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.
