Suspect with a knife booked on multiple felony charges; Daily incident report

   Arrested: Marisol Garza, 30, Garden City

   Charges: 2 counts of Aggravated Assault (F), 2nd Degree Kidnapping (F), Robbery (F), Assault (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of an armed subject attempting to enter a residence on the 7800 block of Ustick Road last night, August 30th, at approximately 9:30 p.m. The victims, who are known to the suspect, tell police the suspect had been consuming alcohol with them. Victims tell police the suspect became aggressive and took money that had been laying on a counter while making threatening statements. Witnesses say the suspect then retrieved a kitchen knife, held it to one adult female victims back and ordered her to go to a second apartment at knife point. At the second apartment, victims tell police the suspect held two adult female victims in the residence while making threats with the knife. Victims tell police that at one point, the suspect held the knife a few inches from both victim's faces. Victims tell police the suspect then left the apartment for a very brief time, during which time the victims locked her out of the home. When the suspect returned to the apartment and began attempting to get back in using a broom handle, the victims called police. The suspect fled the apartment complex at that time. Officers located the suspect a short time later at a residence on the 1500 block of Allen Street. After a detailed investigation, she was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.
