Suspect robs convenience store overnight (Photos)

    Boise Police  are  investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store that took place last night on the 1400 block of West State Street.

   What Happened: Employees tell police the suspect, an adult male, entered the store at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Monday August 27th and displayed a handgun as he demanded cash. The suspect left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen running North on foot into an alleyway. A search of the immediate area did not result in an arrest.

   Suspect description: The suspect is described as a light skinned male adult, approximately 20 to 35 years old. The suspect is approximately 6 feet tall with a medium to heavy build. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt with a white logo. The suspect appeared to be wearing a black long sleeve undershirt. The man was also wearing a brown and white L.A. Dodgers baseball and black gloves. The suspect had on black shoes with a white border.
