Officers ask citizens to take another look & help identify bank robbery suspect

August 22, 2012 - Boise Police detectives are asking citizens to take another look at the man who robbed a bank last month near Broadway Ave. and W. Beacon St. Officers say tips have come in, but are asking citizens to take a second look and call police if they think they may know who the suspect is.

The robbery occurred last July 25th at the Key Bank on Broadway. The suspect description and photo are below. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.



Boise, July 25, 2012 - Boise Police are searching for the man who robbed the Key Bank at 1111 Broadway Ave. The call was reported at 9:31 this morning.

Officers say that witnesses report the man did not display a weapon but threatened the teller. He was last seen leaving the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Suspect Description: light skinned male, approx 6', clean shaven, 30's, wearing a red long sleeve sweatshirt over a white t-shirt, white ballcap, jeans and large mirrored aviator-style sunglasses.

Officers are stil on scene investigating. Additional information will be released when available.
