Traffic Stop Leads to Marijuana Trafficking Arrests; BPD Daily Incident Report

Arrested: Kathryn J. Morgan, 44, Boise

Arrested: Scott W. Reisinger, 46, Boise

Both Charged: Trafficking Marijuana

A Boise Police officer on patrol at 10:00 last night, July 10th witnessed the driver of a Honda Accord swerve in and out of it's traffic lane several times. The officer made a traffic stop on the vehicle at the intersection of W. Franklin and S. Cole Roads. Suspect Morgan was the driver. A drug detection police K9 alerted on the vehicle. In a subsequent search officers found the suspects in possession of a sealed plastic package containing 457 grams (just more than one pound) total package weight of a substance that field tested positive for marijuana. The pair was booked into the Ada County Jail on the above charge per Idaho Code 37-2732(B).


Arrested: Victor A. Chadez-Carroza, 25, Boise

Charged: Burglary (F)

Boise Police were called by employees of a retail store on the 8300 block of W. Overland Rd last night, July 10th shortly before 11:00 p.m.  Employees were detaining the suspect and told officers they had witnessed him leave the store without paying for items from the electronics department. Officers found evidence the suspect entered the story with the intention of committing the crime, making the burglary charge a felony under Idaho State Code 18-1401. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail.
