Vehicle Burglary leads to Felony arrest; Daily incident report

Arrested: Parrish J. Hill, 19, Boise

Charges: Burglary (F), Grand Theft (F), Probation Violation charges

Boise Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary taking place in a parking lot on the 300 block of North Milwaukee Street yesterday, June 5th, at approximately 11:30 a.m.  Employees of a nearby retail store tell police they witnessed the suspect entering vehicles in the parking lot and rummaging through them. Officers located the suspect in the area and a check through Ada County Dispatch confirmed a warrant for his arrest on probation violation charges. A search of the suspects backpack and person revealed several small items that officers determined had been stolen from vehicles in the parking lot. The items included a credit card and a victim's drivers license. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.

The Boise Police Organized Retail Crime Unit has developed a positive, productive working relationship with loss prevention agents from many local retail stores, large and small, local and national chains.
