Use of a vehicle in Aggravated Battery results in Felony warrant arrest; Daily Incident Report

   Warrant Arrested: Alex J. Irish, 18, Boise

   Warrant Charges: Aggravated Battery (F)

     The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Aggravated Battery yesterday.

    The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place on the 12000 block of West McMillan Road on April 3rd of this year. Evidence indicates the suspect was driving a pickup in a parking lot when witnesses say he sped up and struck the victim with the vehicle. The victim, who is known to the suspect, received non-life threatening injuries. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.

TITLE 18 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS CHAPTER 9 ASSAULT AND BATTERY 18-907.  Aggravated battery defined.  (1) A person commits aggravated battery who, in committing battery:  (a)   Causes great bodily harm, permanent disability or permanent disfigurement; or(b)   Uses a deadly weapon or instrument;


   Arrested: Michael J. Olson, 22, Transient

   Charges: Burglary (F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m)

    Boise Police responded to a report of a Burglary at a convenience store on the 2000 block of South Broadway late yesterday night, May 9th, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Witnesses tell police the suspect, later identified as Michael Olson, was seen selecting a bottle of wine and exiting the store without paying for the item. The suspect was located moments later and the bottle of wine was recovered. During the course of the investigation officers determined the suspect had been to a different convenience store on the 2500 block of South Broadway earlier that evening and had taken another bottle of wine that was also recovered during the stop. Officer located a glass pipe used for smoking marijuana on the suspect's person resulting in the paraphernalia charge. The suspect was transported to the Ada County Jail and booked on the above listed charges.


   Arrested: Theresa L. Kardalian, 37, Boise

   Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Prescription Medicationis)(F), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (m) Agents Warrant Probation Violation (F)

    Boise Police assisted Idaho Probation and Parole agents on the search of a suspect's residence on the 9100 block of West Cory Lane yesterday, May 9th, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Officers located several controlled substance medications, including hydrocodone, that the suspect does not have a prescription for. A small pipe was recovered containing a small amount of marijuana. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.


   Arrested: Andrew J. Dechambeau, 24, Boise

   Charges: Forgery (F), Theft by Possession (F), Providing False Information to Police (m) 

    Boise Police arrested Andrew Dechambeau yesterday as part of an ongoing investigation into the theft and forging of signatures that took place in April of this year. Detectives have evidence that indicates the suspect was involved in the theft and attempts to pass the checks for cash at local merchants. After a detailed investigation the suspect was taken into custody yesterday and booked at the Ada County jail on the above listed charges.
