Felony DUI and Delivery of a Controlled Substance arrests; Daily Incident Report

Arrested: Eddie D. Williams Jr, 30, Boise

Charges: Driving Under the Influence (DUI)(F)

Boise Police observed a vehicle speeding inside Ann Morrison Park after dark early this morning, May 4th, at approximately 2:00 a.m. The suspect, who appeared to be very intoxicated at the time of the stop, failed several field sobriety tests and blew a .20/.18 at the Ada County Jail. A check through Ada County Records indicated the suspect had prior convictions for DUI out of Nevada, making this charge a felony. The suspect was booked at the Ada County Jail on the above listed charges.

 Warrant Arrested: Shirley E. Stone-Jones, 46, Boise

Warrant Charges: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (F)

The suspect was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance yesterday.

The arrest warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into the possession of approximately 26 grams total package weight of Meth recovered from the suspects purse during a traffic stop on May 2nd of this year. At the time of the stop the suspect, later identified as Shirley Stone-Jones was a passenger in the vehicle. During the course of the investigation a purse, belonging to the suspect, was recovered and officers located the Meth inside. Officers have other evidence that indicates the suspect was involved in the sale of the illegal drug. That investigative information was forwarded to the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's Office and resulted in the felony warrant.
